Itinerary
Day 1. Sarajevo, Bosnia- Herzegovina
Arrival at Sarajevo airport and meeting with your French speaking guide. Join the city center of the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, located on the Miljacka River and surrounded by the Dinaric Alps.
With a rich architectural and artistic heritage, you will appreciate a city that mixes mosques, synagogues, Orthodox and Catholic churches. Built 400 years ago, they reveal the importance of the religious heritage of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Enjoy the evening in this friendly and dynamic city.

Day 2. Sarajevo, Bosnia- Herzegovina
After breakfast, you will meet your guide for a gastronomic visit to the Bosnian capital. Gourmet Food & City Tour is a must if you want to experience and feel the authentic spirit of local cuisine.
Discover the city and its tastes during a 3-hour walking tour. While exploring and discovering the main cultural and historical sites, you will enjoy Bosnian cuisine and taste the authentic specialties of traditional cuisine.
The second part of our visit will be devoted to the presentation of local products, explain their manufacture and give you advice on the best way to eat them. It's a great opportunity to interact with locals and discover all you need to know about Bosnian cuisine and gastronomy.
After the presentation, your lunch will be served in the dining room above the Balkantina store. For your enjoyment, the best local dishes will be served, such as Bey soup, stuffed vegetables, ćevapćići, wine, rakija, artisan cheeses and dips, prosciutto, natural juices and much more.

Day 3. Sarajevo - Travnik - Jajce - Sarajevo, Bosnia- Herzegovina
After breakfast, leave for a day trip to Travnik, a former trading city and military stronghold of the Turks.
After a break in a café near the stream frequented by Nobel laureate and writer Ivo, you will climb into the fortress and visit its museum.
You will go back down to visit the colorful mosque and the birthplace of Ivo Andric, then you will visit the local museum of the city.
After the visit, join the historic city of Jajce, capital of medieval Bosnia kings and true open-air museum town. Lunch in a restaurant in the city.
You will visit the Roman temple of Mithras dating from the 4th century AD Continue the visit and pass the famous Tower of St. Luke and finish at the Castle of Jajce dating from the fourteenth century and overlooking the city. Continue the tour past the city walls and fortified gates with splendid views of the area.
Finish your visit in front of the famous waterfalls of Pliva, paradisiac place located under the old city.
Return to Sarajevo at the end of the day.

Day 4. Sarajevo - Visoko- Sarajevo, Bosnia-Herzegovina
After breakfast, After breakfast, you will meet your guide at the reception of the hotel. Departure for Visoko and visit of the pyramids of Bosnia.
You will visit the Ravne tunnel, as well as the sites of the Pyramid of the Moon and the Pyramid of the Sun, which contain the largest megalithic blocks of the Balkans.
After your lunch, you will have the opportunity to walk around Sarajevo.
Dinner in local restaurant. Overnight in Sarajevo.
Day 5. Mostar, Bosnia-Herzegovina
After breakfast, leave for Mostar, another face of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Martyred during the war, Mostar remains one of the most beautiful cities of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is considered the soul of Ottoman culture in Herzegovina.
Lunch at a local restaurant in the city.
Start a panoramic tour of Mostar. Visit the old town, the Kujundziluk Bazaar, the unmissable crooked bridge and symbol of the city "Kriva Cuprija", rebuilt in the 16th century in Stari Most, Turkish houses as well as the Mosque of Karadjoz-Bey.

Day 6. On the way to Herzegovina, Bosnia-Herzegovina
While crossing Eastern Herzegovina, we will learn more about the rich history of this region. In the small town of Blagaj, twelve kilometers from Mostar, below a steep rock, one of the most abundant river sources in Europe. There is also an old Dervish monastery, an attractive cultural site, dating from the late 15th or early 16th century.
On the way to Stolac, we will stop at Zitomislici, where there is a 15th century Orthodox cathedral. Arriving at Stolac, we will see the most beautiful necropolis of gravestones - stecci. There are many archaeological discoveries from the Paleolithic and the 3rd century BC. In the vicinity of Trebinje, we will visit one of the largest karst caves in Europe, 6100 meters long. The cave of Vjetrenica is well known for its endemic animal species. The last resort of this trip is the center of eastern Herzegovina - the city of Trebinje, known for the Arslanagic bridge dating back to Turkey and many other interesting places to visit.

Day 7. Mostar - Konjic - Sarajevo, Bosnia Herzegovina
After breakfast, departure from Mostar for a full day of rafting on the Neretva River in Konjic. The length is 18 kilometers through unspoiled nature and through one of the most beautiful canyons. The starting point is located in Dzajic Buk, on the banks of the Neretva River, only 6 km from Konjic.

Day 8. Sarajevo, Bosnia-Herzegovina
After breakfast, free time in Sarajevo until your transfer to the airport for your return flight.
